The story of Bravery HQ began in October 2022. Toby, an ex-SBS marine and passionate entrepreneur, envisioned a space that went beyond brewing great coffee. His vision was to create a creative hub where people from all walks of life could gather, connect, and feel inspired. But, what set this dream apart was the fact that Toby himself is disabled. A fact that never deterred him but fueled his determination even more.
Chapter 2: Overcoming Obstacles
The creation of Bravery HQ was far from smooth sailing. Overcoming obstacles became the hallmark of Bravery’s journey. From finding the perfect location with wheelchair accessibility to sourcing inclusive furniture and equipment. Each step presented its challenges. Undeterred, Toby and the Bravery Team worked hard. Collaborating with local architects and contractors to make the vision a reality.
Chapter 3: The Heart and Soul
The interior was designed to promote inclusivity and ooze a creative vibe. An innovative menu was crafted to cater to a diverse range of tastes and dietary requirements. The coffee, sourced from responsible growers, was sourced to provide a sensory experience like no other. Courage meets coffee!

Bravery HQ is not only an apparel and coffee shop, it is about community. Toby fostered connections with local artists, musicians, and entrepreneurs throughout the journey. As we fast forward to today, we find ourselves on the brink of an exciting new chapter. Bravery HQ and Coffee Shop is set to open its doors to the world in early November. This date has changed multiple times, due to different challenges that have arisen. The picture below was when we were planning the floor layout.
